Alie has also used her artistic skills to design and create a variety of props, including massive 'Audrey 2' plants for Little Shop Of Horrors, huge 'horse head masks' for Equus, and the amazing 'Aztec icons' for Royal Hunt Of The Sun.

In addition to her theatrical work, Alie has also designed and constructed numerous life-sized soft sculptured figures for various events along with 'Shming', a wearable puppet like monster, made for Services for Children and Families.
After a lifetime of art activities, Alie has combined her love of sculpture with her many needlecraft skills to create her Dolls With Attitude collection, a range of free standing soft sculptured figures, standing approximately 50cm high, depicting many of the stars of stage and screen. Using cloth, wire, wood, padding and clay, along with detailed costuming, Alie has recreated many well known characters such as 'Charlie Chaplin' and 'Marcel Marceau', and lovingly keeps her collection in custom made display cases, always ready for their next exhibition.
